Champion Davmar Northern Dancer

At the Midland Sealyham Terrier Club 2003,
Ch Davmar Northern Dancer sealed another
Top Sealyham title, but also surpassed the UK
CC record, winning his 32nd CC on the day.
He equalled the record at Welsh Kennel Club
and won the Terrier Group. Owned and bred
by Mr David Winsley, Dancer is the son of two homebred Champions
Yankee Doodle Dandy and Fancy Dancer, both offspring of the kennel's
foundation, Mint Cake of Topstage, dam of many winners.
The previous Sealyham record holder was Dancer's great great great
grandsire, Ch Topstage White Pepper.
In 2002 Northern Dancer became the first Sealyham to win a BIS
since 1980 when he took the top award at South Wales, the breed's
homeland. The previous breed BIS winner was also White Pepper.

As a sire Northern Dancer is also making his mark. His first Champion
son, Tap Dance Kid was made up in 2002 and two Champion
daughters in 2003, Pindaric The Bonnie Dawn and Plumhollow Dance
With Dan. A grandson was also made up in 2003, Ornella Dizzi Deri,
by CC winner Nomis Nemisis now Ornella.
